Training for sports and general fitness can require a lot of physical exertion in several forms, and it is your responsibility as the parent guardian to ensure that your child is fully fit/healthy before sending them. Injuries rarely occur as part of normal participation in sport and exercise and Sterling Health & Fitness cannot be held responsible for any such injury which may occur.
It is important that participants wear suitable trainers in good condition, bring plenty of water, food (especially if coming straight from school or another activity), sunscreen where necessary, and wear appropriate clothing for the session and day.
Whilst we advocate a fun and lively energy within training, continued poor and especially dangerous behaviour (to themselves or others) could result in a participant being removed from the training environment and a parent/guardian called to pick them up. If this happens at a further event, they may be excluded from taking part without any refund on remaining training sessions that have been purchased.
We would also advise you to discuss the need for appropriate care of personal belongings with your child as these are not the responsibility of Sterling Health & Fitness and its coaches.
All participants must be registered before participating and to advise us if they will be picked up by a non-family member.
Payments
If the participant withdraws after being accepted refunds will not be made.
In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled a pro-rata refund will be given.
Photography
Photographs will be taken of participants during the course of activities and used for promotional material. If you or you child have concerns about having their image included, please send an email to steve@sterlinghealthandfitness.co.uk with your request along with your child’s name and we will be happy to refrain from them being included.
